Meeting Schedule

APPLICANT MEETINGS are designed to provide nursing applicants more detailed information about the program and application process. These meetings are mandatory for anyone who has decided to apply to the nursing program.

2-Year ADN Program Applicant Meetings

The September 2026 2-Year ADN program applicant meeting schedule is below. Meetings are held online and in person.

To join a 2-Year ADN online applicant meeting, click the following link: 2-Year ADN Applicant Meeting Link a few minutes prior to the meeting time. Registration is not necessary.

If you wish to join by phone, after joining the meeting with the link, click the purple tab on the lower right side of the screen. Then click the Settings tab. Under Audio and Video Settings click "Use your phone for audio."  You will see a Dial In phone number and PIN to use to place the phone call.

In-person applicant meetings will be in the Health Science Building (S Building) at Alvin College. In-person meetings cannot be attended virtually or by phone. Maps to the campus and building are at the end of the 2-Year ADN Application Instructions Packet.

LVN-to-ADN Transition Program Applicant Meetings

Applicant meetings are held during the application period. The next application periods are:

February 1 - 26, 2027, for the Summer 2027 start date

and

May 10, 2027 - June 3, 2027, for the Fall 2027 start date

To join a transition program online applicant meeting, click the following link: LVN-to-ADN Applicant Meeting a few minutes before the meeting begins. Registration is not necessary.

Prepare for your nursing education by attending a general information meeting or applicant meeting. 

GENERAL INFORMATION MEETINGS are designed to provide information about preparing to apply to the nursing program. These meetings are optional, and are suitable for the general public and for those in the process of deciding whether to apply to nursing. If you attend a general information meeting and then decide to apply, you must also attend an applicant meeting. Information meetings are online.
